If you have comprehensive cover, all you have to pay is the excess shown in your policy schedule. Your No Claims Discount won't be affected when you make a windscreen claim. You can arrange to repair or replace your windscreen directly with our windscreen partner Autoglass.

If you are a Darwin customer who has purchased Motor Legal Protection cover (or you have a Darwin Gold or Platinum policy), you’ll have cover for Legal Costs up to £100,000.
This cover will be available to you if you’ve been in a road traffic accident where someone else is to blame, and if you need to claim for your injury or other uninsured losses.
You’ll be told whether the cover is available to you when you report your motor claim. If available, and you want to make a claim, our legal teams will review the details of your accident. Legal costs will be covered if there is a better than 50% chance that your claim will succeed.
We take insurance fraud very seriously – it’s illegal and increases the cost of everyone else’s policies.
To protect customers we use specialised detection processes to identify false or exaggerated claims, which we then invalidate.
